A Sweet Encounter Brings me to Vancouver

Walking on the street, I spotted a crowd of young people getting off a tour bus.  The Canadian flag logo of their luggage, gave me a rush of closeness to home.  I tried to get the attention of one of the youngsters, but they did not acknowledge me as they were engaged in their interaction.

That is because I had to tap the back of the right person.  When she turned around, her eyes smiled and me and her lips uttered my name... Violeta... right?

This person was Romy, the daughter of my Israeli Vancouverite acquaintance, a Grade 8 student from King David High School in Vancouver.  We quickly exchanged information on our crossing of paths, and as the crowd gathered to carry on to their destination, we hugged and kissed.
