I Discoverd Sarona...

Sarona, Tel Aviv

This past week I discovered a marvellous park-like open space, called Sarona. Little did I know of the place's rich history.

Sarona today is a "poche" villa that sits in the middle of central Tel Aviv and attracts tourists from all over the world.  Bistros, boutiques, designers, art galleries, and studios of various kinds have a home here, some housed in sober heritage buildings, and others in bold modern structures.

Our famous Granville Island Market pales in comparison to the Sarona Market. Judge for yourselves.
